Gary Cahill was unhappy with his team-mates

Incoming manager Antonio Conte was at the San Siro yesterday to watch two defensive targets for Chelsea.
Italian website Calciomercato say Conte was there to look at Inter Milan's Jeison Murillo and Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly.
Both have had good seasons for their respective clubs and with John Terry not being given a new contract and Kurt Zouma out injured, additions could be made in central defence.

Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland has revealed the reasons behind his decision to snub a move to Chelsea when he was at Birmingham.
"[Not going to Chelsea] wasn’t the need to play straight away, it was like “what’s the next step for me, how can I build my career next?," Butland said on Sky Sports' Goals On Sunday.
"I just felt at the time that I didn't want to get bogged down at a big club. I’d always backed myself to try and do well but I didn't want to get bogged down and just be another number. 
"I’m not saying I would have been [another number] at Chelsea but I felt the next step for me was at Stoke. I learned about the goalkeeping coach there and I felt it was somewhere I could really develop."

Gary Cahill has slammed his team-mates for their 'rubbish' performance in their 3-0 defeat to Manchester City yesterday.
“It is unbelievably disappointing,” he told the club's official website.
“I thought we got what we deserved. At times in that game we were rubbish and lacked the desire to get a result and they had it, and they punished us for it.
“We seemed to have a few corners for us and the next minute they were down our end having a dangerous attack at goal.
“Maybe it was a lack of concentration from us. We started the game okay, we had a few chances and put a bit of pressure on and got some corners but overall, we can play a hell of a lot better than that.”
