Presidency finally admits Buhari is sick, going abroad for medical care

The presidency has confirmed suspicions in many quarters, that President Muhammadu Buhari is not totally in sound health, or as ‘fit as a fiddle’, as earlier claimed.
There had been reports that the president was sick, but his media managers had denied it.
However his special adviser on media and publicity, Mr Femi Adesina in a short statement on Sunday informed that the president is off to London on Monday for treatment on what he said is a “persistent ear infection”.

According to him, President Buhari “will take 10 days off and travel to London on Monday June 6th to rest.
“During the holiday, he will see an E.N.T. specialist for a persistent ear infection.
“The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated. Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution.”
It would be recalled that Grovebase Nigeria had earlier reported that the president had skipped out of a scheduled visit to Lagos due to health challenges
