Armed Robbers Attack Sisters Convent In Lagos







Four armed robbers have attacked a convent, SS Joachin and Anne Catholic church in Ijegun, Lagos State. The robbers stormed the convent in the early hours of Saturday April 9 at Irede street in Ijegun.
The robbers allegedly forced their way through the gate and broke the doors leading their rooms, carting away valuables.
Though there were no reports of physical attacks or injury sustained by the sisters, they were molested and intimidated to part with their valuables. Items carted away include phones, laptops and undisclosed sums of money.

A night guard attached to the church was brutally attacked and injured and he is laying critically ill at undisclosed hospital in Lagos. According to the residents, the robbers went to the convent carried out their diabolic act before proceeding to the church where the priests reside to continue their looting.
However, the security guards on duty resisted them and in the process, one of the guards was brutally attack.
